PIETA

Pieta statue from the shrine church of St. Walburge, Preston. The figures previous repainting had been crudely coloured.

Once repairs were made, we re-painted the figures, and added a painted stenciled decoration to the arched niche.

Pieta statue restored for Holy Cross Church, London. The original colours had faded with age,  the surfaces were heavily stained. The virgin's face was damaged, and fingers of Christ broken. The base support was also badly damaged.
